past two days

yesterday was in a bit of a hurry so i kept it short with caribbean workouts abs, buns, and thighs doing the 20 minute circuit workout. it alternates hi-lo aerobics(mostly hi) with combination weight moves for upper and lower body. i made the most of the 20 minute by trying not to modify although i did through some of the exercises b/c i was just reaching failure. example would be doing french press with lunge dips i changed it up halfway through with tricep kickbacks and squats, so i was still sticking with it.

today was a workout i have yet to try since recieving it many months ago. amy bento's rumble, i knew when i pre-ordered it would be different. it was mostly drills and simple combos which were taught slow and sped up to bring it together. i did rather enjoy it from the break of her non stop cardio, which mostly keeps going hi-impact. i was however not impressed with the stretch segment. i was excited at first b/c of her training but i just wasn't impressed. some of the stretches didn't seem to stretch me out as good and bothered my back. some were really good but most of them were not for me. maybe i need to work on it some more before attempting this stretch segment again but i think i will try to add on something else before coming back to it. overall this was a bit lower intensity then her other workouts but i liked it for what it was a drill style kickboxing workout. i know some complained "too slow" but i find that you get out it what you put into it. as long as your focus is there and your punches and kicks are strong you will get something out of it. and when its time to bring the combos together really get into it and one will be surprised how much you sweat.

aiming for yoga but doubt it will happen with both dh and viola home. maybe they will surprise me and give me some time to myself LOL.
