stress and exercise

stepping away from the workouts for a minute to get more idea of experience of fitness in. we all have stress. i have some, you have some and we probably both react to it differently. depending on what i have to face determines my energy level and drive. sometimes a great amount of stress just about knocks me out.

i won't get to details but i am under some stress, more like panic. its obviously effecting my energy for workouts and my motivation as well. for once its not effecting my eating i am still keeping healthy!

a lot of people go through this, and sometimes they don't realize this is causing their excuse to not exercise. i can relate but i am trying to take it in a new direction. when i feel this way, do something fun. dance workouts are fun for me and great workouts on top of it. certain video instructors charisma on camera are fun, and that can motivate me. for that one moment i feel the world and the crap it throws at me, fading away. sometimes this helps my outlook for the rest of day, sometimes that gives my mind a chance to work through an issue, the my resolution to the problem pops up.

i try to find if i can release that tension i feel a little better. its so hard to control things in our life and one thing i am working on is to change my outlook and handle on how i see things i cannot control.

aside from bad habits in eating and exercise, one thing that isn't talked about with the obesity/health epidemic is stress. we all have some form of it and maybe it causes us not to have energy to workout, keeps us unmotivated, makes us reach for the junk, or whatever the case. i think we have to find the outlet through exercise to work through it, use that time as a moving meditation to clear your mind. once you can take care of yourself and step away for a moment, you can work through a problem easier.

i know this is all easier said then done, i find myself relapsing on this thought as well. but you know its now how many times we fall, its how strong we get back up again even if we fall a 1000 times, get back up and keep fighting. exercise is way better then pills to solve an issue that is weighing you down, almost literally!!!
